Northern California firefighters say a fast-moving wildfire destroyed a few thousand buildings. The 27,000 citizens of Paradise, California have been informed to evacuate because the blaze burned via greater than 28 sq. miles. (Nov. nine)

Fast-growing wildfires in California forced tens of thousands of people to quickly evacuate their homes, including several high-profile celebrities, who took to social media Thursday and Friday to reveal they were impacted by the blaze. 

Kim Kardashian West took to her Instagram Story to share images of the fires, revealing she was returning home from a trip and rushed to pack up and evacuate her Calabasas-area home. 

“Pray for Calabasas,” she wrote on her Instagram Story along with an aerial view of the fires. “Just landed back home and had 1 hour to pack up & evacuate our home. I pray everyone is safe.” 

The reality star later added, “Fire fighters are arriving. Thank you for all that you do for us!!!” 

She then shared an image of her pajama-clad kids sitting on the pavement after the evacuation, writing, “North is always in a good mood.”

Kardashian West’s sister, Kourtney Kardashian, also took to her Instagram Story to reveal she was evacuating. She shared a picture of her car trunk filled with belongings and wrote, “I pray that everyone is kept safe and protected from these fires. No Calabasas tonight.”

Their younger sister, Khloe Kardashian, wrote she was hunkered down with brother Rob Kardashian, his daughter, Dream, and her own daughter, True. 

Alternatively, Friday morning she tweeted in a panic, “The flames have jumped the 101!! I want an evacuation replace please.”

The Kardashians weren’t the one stars impacted via the wildfires. Actress Alyssa Milano, an outspoken voice of the #MeToo motion, wrote she used to be evacuated as smartly. 

“I simply needed to evacuate my house from the fires,” she tweeted. “I took my youngsters, canines, laptop and my Document Marten boots. (Husband is in NY. Horses are being evacuated via my instructor.)”

Rainn Wilson tweeted that his house were evacuated, and his pigs and canines have been positive. 

“Please ship your prayers to the folk of Thousand Oaks and the sufferers of the taking pictures that are actually having to evacuate their houses and neighborhoods,” he tweeted. “Then ship them some money.”

Scott Baio posted overdue Thursday night that he “could also be subsequent in line” to escape, including “fires throughout.”

“Such a lot of pals have already left their houses,” he tweeted. “What a tragic day four our neighborhood”

Singer/songwriter Hayley Kiyoko lamented “MY TOWN is in flames” prior to encouraging fans to evacuate. “Don’t be cussed. it’s so bad and severe!”

In a similar way, famed director Guillermo del Toro told his fans: “IF you are living in Agoura Hills, CA – the fireplace is shifting against that space. Please evacuate.” 

As did journalist Dan Somewhat. 

“Very frightening and harmful wildfire spreading in California at scary speeds,” Somewhat posted. “Heed warnings to evacuate.

“My ideas are with all the ones tasked with retaining other people secure,” he persevered. “That is turning into worse and worse. And local weather alternate is actual.”
