Obsidian, inXile acquired by Microsoft Studios

Microsoft has introduced the purchase of RPG-centric studios Obsidian and inXile Leisure, as a part of a bunch of bulletins at its X08 match in Mexico.

The addition of the studios comes as Microsoft ramps up its Sport Go per thirty days subscription provider, and follows a equivalent E3 2018 announcement which added new studio The Initiative, Undead Labs (State of Decay), Compulsion Video games (We Satisfied Few), Playground Video games (Forza Horizon), and Ninja Concept (Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice) to Microsoft’s inside studios.

Veteran RPG studio Obsidian is well known for video games like Fallout: New VegasBig name Wars Knights of the Outdated Republic II, and it’s personal newer Pillars of Eternity sequence, and inXile is notable for its paintings on The Bard’s Story franchise, Barren region 2 (& the impending Barren region three), and plenty of different RPG titles.
